By Air

  • Fly direct to Mackay from Brisbane or Sydney to make the most of your time in our delightful piece of Queensland.

Mackay Airport enjoys a host of services provided by Virgin Australia, QantasLink and Jetstar. Short-term and long-term parking is available. Taxis or shuttle services are available and a number of rental car companies operate from the airport terminal.

Moranbah Airport is serviced by QantasLink and Virgin Australia, providing direct flights to Brisbane. Free short-term and long-term parking is available. Taxis and rental car booths are also located on site through a range of companies.

By Rail

Take a journey aboard the Spirit of Queensland to Mackay and choose from Premium Economy seats or the lie-flat meal inclusive Railbed. Mackay Train Station is located at Paget, 5KM south of the City Centre.

By Road

  • Driving to Mackay allows the added pleasure of stopping to enjoy the scenery and sights as you travel. If you want the driving done for you, major coach operators such as Greyhound Australia include Mackay, Nebo, Moranbah and Clermont on their scheduled services from major cities along the coast.
