Moranbah Parks and Gardens

Overview

Grosvenor Park is the perfect environment in which to throw down a rug on the lush green grass and enjoy a picnic.

Description

Directly opposite Moranbah’s town square are the gorgeous grounds of Grosvenor Park! It is the perfect environment in which to throw down a rug on the lush green grass, curl up and read a book, enjoy a picnic or cook up a feast on the barbecues provided.

The ambience is calm, the breeze is refreshing and it is fully equipped with tables, playground equipment and public amenities. What’s more, visitors and locals alike can enjoy playing on the instruments of ‘The Musical Railway Line’ which is a public art project created by Stephen Langdon of Hubbub Music in Brisbane and commissioned by the Queensland Arts Council in conjunction with the Queensland Music Festival. Come and enjoy a day out in the park! If you find yourself short of any supplies, the main shopping complex is just over the road.

Moranbah is part of the Mining Trail drive and brochures can be picked up from Visitor Information Centres in the region.
