Potters wins best-rated accommodation in Mackay
Potters Oceanside Motel has been named the top-rated accommodation in The Mackay Region for the second consecutive year, by hotel price comparison site trivago.
The two-year-old establishment was ranked as the third top-rated accommodation in Queensland and seventh overall in Australia.
Potters Oceanside managers Jill and Richard said they were ecstatic with the results and were looking forward to welcoming new and previous travellers.
“Service has always been a priority and we strive to provide more than you would expect from a motel,” Jill said.
“Our goal is to maintain a high standard where guests enjoy their stay enough to share their experience with others.”
General Manager of Mackay Tourism, Tas Webber, said the results show travellers are happy with the hospitality on offer in The Mackay Region.
“The Mackay Region is a friendly place to visit and our tourism operators pride themselves on offering top hospitality, so it is great to see this being highlighted in new results.”
